Tuesday Fun

Today was another fun day, but really, 8pm comes and I am so exhausted. It's now a little after 9pm. Ella was in bed at 8:30 yet she's still up there awake and calling my name. And William doesn't feel like going to bed yet... I am ready to go to bed!

Ella took Francois for a ride in her cozy coupe today.

She even let him drive a little.

My little cheeseball.

And Ella made this "hand" made fish today. I think she enjoyed getting her hand traced. She was cute, when I asked her what the eye was on the fish, she thought it was a spider. I guess it did look like one. :)

I'm not only really tired today but a little bit sore from my own crazy jumping and sliding at Pump It Up yesterday. ;)

Pool! Pool!

That's what I've been hearing ever since we blew up Ella's pool a few days ago. Unfortunately, it's been too cool to go in, until today. She loved it! Tomorrow if it's hot she'll get in her bathing suit and really go to town!

This is right before she splashed me. She did a lot of that!

Giving the "sake" some kisses. :)

Again, right before I got soaked!

She loves her babies...and she was helping this one splash around.

Happy little face.

This is after I just got splashed. Again. :) But I didn't mind. It was so hot out the cool water felt great!

We had such fun. This afternoon we also got to go back to Pump It Up and we got there early this time so Ella had almost a full hour and a half of jumping. And this time she definitely wasn't wary when we entered the place. She took right off and got to jumping. It is so much fun! Daddy and I took turns jumping, and it was such fun laughing and jumping with Ella. We will definitely be "regulars"! What a great place to have so close to home.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th! We made it to a parade today and Ella got her daddy lots of candy! :) Ella enjoyed the parade, except for the sirens. They were way too loud for her.

Hey there big sis!

Daddy was the picture taker today, so unfortunately we didn't get any with daddy.

And lucky us, we really didn't have to go anywhere to see fireworks. They were going off in about 5 different spots we could see from our house, many of which were compliments of our neighbors. It was tough getting the little ones to sleep with the loud booms, but I enjoyed seeing them from our front yard. It'll probably be a few years yet until we can take the kids.

Our Day in Pictures

Ella hasn't had much appetite lately at all. She didn't want to eat lunch until almost 3pm and even then she just wanted yogurt. She loves her yogurt. She ate at her little table while she played with her stickers. (The only way I could get her to eat anything.)

William, happy as usual, sitting in his carseat while Ella and I played outside. I actually was able to wrangle Ella into the stroller today for a nice walk! We went to the playground and she went on the "side! side!" which is Ella talk for slide. :) William fell asleep.. :)

I can't get enough of this face and these smiles.

Ella sharing her baby with William. I don't think he was all that interested. ;)

Ella helped me make stuffing for dinner tonight. She enjoyed ripping the bread up, but really loved adding the spices. There are no pictures of that because I had to keep grabbing them from her because she was totally drowning the bread in spices! :)

We had a really good day! I'm getting really good at getting William down for his naps during the day in his crib too. I'm now known as the Nap Master around here. :) Having William nap in his crib allows me to have some wonderful one on one fun time with Ella too.

Oh and at 8:30pm tonight BOTH CHILDREN WERE IN BED AND ASLEEP! Oh my gosh! Hubby and I almost didn't know what to do with ourselves! We usually end up getting William to bed later and then going to bed ourselves after a very long day. This is quite nice and a very welcome change! :)

Life is good.

Fireworks!

Today we watched some clips of fireworks--her first time seeing them! She did really well with this, aside from accidentally ripping one when she was pulling it open. :)

She did really well coloring the cupcake liners with lots of different colors.

Ella loves glue... She wasn't happy when we were done using it. :)

Of course we had to add glitter! (I used glitter glue that Ella just spread around with a paintbrush).

Ella's finished fireworks!

I think it looks pretty good!
