Love

The kids were driving me crazy while I was trying to make dinner tonight (the 5pm hour is a rough hour at our house!), so I turned on the tv. If you know me at all, my kids watch no tv. Ella plays on Nick Jr on the computer while I shower every day, but other than that, we find other ways to entertain ourselves. :)

But today William was trying to climb my legs and pull my clothes down while I was trying to get dinner ready. I needed 30 minutes to get it done, so I turned on the tv reluctantly. All was quiet when I peeked into the living room and this is what I saw.
Ella is so incredibly loving. Don't get me wrong. She pushes her brother when he gets too close to her toys that she doesn't want knocked down, but overall she is amazing to him. She puts up with his tantrums and him throwing small objects and whacking her in the head. :) Most days she has her arms around him and her lips on his cheeks.

Am I blessed or what!?

Fun in the sun

Another beautiful day!

You really gotta watch this one...he takes off climbing up the slide all the time. He's pretty good at it. The boy climbs everything. He climbs chairs, he was climbing up onto the bathroom counter... you name it, he tries to climb it.
Ella had a great morning at preschool. She brought home this cool crown she made. It looks like a sun, but she said it was a star. I don't really understand it. :)
The kiddies love to dig in my little garden....of things that did not grow.
Playing in the grass.
My little sweeties.

They make me sooo happy.

Alleluia!!

William doesn't say much yet, but he loves to sing!

First at dinner.. Whenever Ella and I sing Alleluia, William joins in. It is so cute!

He does this in church too. We love our church music. :)

Our days...

are usually quite enjoyable. As long as they've both gotten enough sleep, they are so much fun to be around. This morning both kids went next door to play with their friends for a WHOLE HOUR. This was a big deal since neither of them are ever without me. And they both did great!

We're loving this beautiful weather....some extra time to play outside!
Ella picked the not-so-ripe tomato from my garden.
Ella's a toughie. She doesn't like her picture taken anymore and usually makes it difficult for me.

William on the other hand loves the camera. :)
And as you see, Ella is rubbing off on William....
Regardless, I love these little ones.

Being their mommy is better than I ever imagined it could be.

Pumpkin picking fun!

It has been a beautiful, wonderful weekend! The temps have been in the 70's and we've been loving it! Friday night we went for a long walk in the neighborhood and had fun laughing and playing tag in the yard. Yesterday we went to a Harvest Festival at a local church where we checked out local crafters, and best of all saw an animal show! We sat right up front and watched as "Outback Ray" took out snakes, an alligator, a fox, a chinchilla, a bird, hissing cockroach, a lizard and more. It was awesome. Ella was in her glory! At the end we even got to touch a few! Ella was so brave. She touched the so soft chinchilla AND the snake! We had a great morning.

This afternoon after their naps we headed off to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins.
William tried to stand on the pumpkin...
My little cuties.
My big strong girl...
and my big strong boy!
Ella liked to sit on the pumpkins.
William was our inspector.
Ella really wanted to go for a hayride, so off we went! William cried hard for a minute or two then calmed down to enjoy the rest of the ride.
Ella the ghost.
Daddy lifted five pumpkins, and Ella couldn't wait to "decorate" them.
Aww.. :)
Pretty cute, huh? Both the pumpkins and the kiddies. :)

What a fun day and fun weekend!

Handprint Spider

The kids made these cute handprint spiders today. William's hand was so tiny I ended up painting all his fingers. So his spider is special and has 10 legs. :) Ella's has the correct amount. I'm so excited that Ella seemed to like getting her hand painted. It doesn't feel like that long ago that she was very anti-paint on her hands!
What fun! I love Fall/Halloween crafts!

Finger painted Fall Trees

Ella finally agreed to do an art project today! I was so excited! She wanted to make a colorful tree, so she made this cute fingerpainted fall tree. She had so much fun!

First she let me trace her arm and hand, and it served as her tree! (William wouldn't let me trace him.)
William made an attempt at his first art project, but he wasn't too sure about the paint...

Ella was really into it!! Her tree turned out beautiful!
I gave William a sponge to make the leaves, but he still wasn't feeling it. Oh well! Maybe next time he'll be more into it! Ella on the other hand had tons of fun and loved making the leaves fall from the tree. So pretty!
