He FINALLY SLEEPS! It hasn't been a great day here. William has refused to take any naps for me. I think he'd sleep on me, or fall asleep nursing, but I really want to get him to sleep elsewhere. Preferably his crib. I tried his crib, the swing and finally, after around 7 hrs of almost constant awake time, he conked out in his bouncy seat.

It's hard to be mad at him for refusing to nap when he's so cute...

But mommy is 100% exhausted from the day's events. And it's not over yet! Ella will be up from her nap soon.

This newborn stage is tough...

The Sweetest Little Girl

Ever. That's right. I think I have plain and simple, the sweetest little girl ever. She has a complete heart of gold. Let's just say she plays with several kids around her age and a couple aren't always so nice. Today we were at the playground and there was a two year old not being all that nice. I'm sure my little ones will have their moments as they get older, but I pray that Ella always stays as sweet and kind as she is today.

She's so good to her stuffed animals, taking them out for walks.

Even giving her bear a turn on the swing today.

Now that's sweet.

There's that tongue again. And that smile. I couldn't live without that smile.

I love my girl.

I am so lucky. So blessed.

Bonding

We enjoyed having Nana and Pa in town visiting for Ella's birthday party. I love that despite living almost 5 hrs away, they're still very much involved with these two little angels. They can't seem to get enough of them and are always sad to leave (on both ends really).

I wonder what they were talking about... ?? Hmm..

Nana doesn't enjoy her picture being taken as much as Pa, but Nana's lips were almost constantly on these two. You'll have to take my word on that. :)

Pump it up!

Yesterday we took Ella to Pump It Up and had SO MUCH FUN! Most of the kids were much older, and being her first time there, she was a little unsure at first. After about 10 minutes though, she was loving it. Mommy was even in there bouncing around with her. We'll definitely have to go back!!

So much fun!

This slide was awesome! Ella was a little scared to climb up by herself, so I went with her as kids were charging up behind us. I think I was the only other adult going crazy in the bounce house with their child, and I'm not sure I saw any other adults go down the huge slide. :)
