What a love!

Mommy's in heaven as Ella is sleeping wonderfully at night (11 solid hours) AND taking two nice naps a day. She was going through a period not long ago where she'd get up at 7am and nap maybe 45 minutes all day, then go to sleep at 8pm. It was exhausting! Now she naps about 1 1/2 hours in the morning and around 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon. Then she's in a great mood because she's well rested. Aww, my little munchkin must be growing!

Here's how I found the little cutie after her afternoon nap today.

Then she enjoyed her milk...

And then she was all about giving out the love. Her kitty cat got some kisses...

...and her teddy bear got a few too. Mommy on the other hand, got jipped!

Instead, mommy got attacked. Ella is completely fascinated with the camera and loves flicking the flash and touching the lens. It's hard to get good pictures now as Ella is constantly attacking the camera. :)


Oh but that face.... :)

Fun Stuff

Ella loves to make a mess. Whether it's pulling the measuring cups, pots and pans out of the cupboard or pulling all her books off her shelves, she loves it. I can't tell you how many times a day I pick up tons of her books and put them back on the shelf. But, she has so much fun doing it... so I let her... :)

Ella learned how to open her drawers today too. I'm surprised she'd gone this long! So, of course, she wanted to pull out all her clothes and throw them around.

I just have to smile. She is so sweet.

Trip to the Petting Farm

Picture overload time! It's been a while....!

We had such a fabulous day! The three of us visited a petting farm today and Ella really enjoyed seeing all the animals. Her first trip to a petting farm was a good one!

Daddy and Ella meeting a very hungry horse right by a sign on the fence that said "Warning. Animals may bite. Use Caution." And we did! We fed her carrots and Ella loved it. She wasn't quite sure what to make of it all. She loved being up close and personal with all the animals. :)

These were some cute little baby goats . They nibbled on corn in an ice cream cone, but they really seemed to want a nibble of our sweet Ella.

The ducks were a little scary the way they came charging as soon as they saw us with cones of corn. As you can see, daddy snatched up Ella a bit fearful that the ducks were going to bite our own tasty morsel.

Ella really enjoyed meeting the big black cow. She liked getting super close too, so I had to hold her back. What a brave little girl!

Ella even took part in feeding the bunnies some carrot slivers.

We had such a fun time. It's so awesome experiencing it through Ella's eyes. It was all brand new to her.

Ella conked out a little earlier tonight from all the fun and excitement. :)

YUUUM!!!

So after Ella and I came inside from playing, I had her sitting on the counter to take off her shoes. I guess she was hungry as she decided to grab a peach from the counter. She polished that thing off pretty quickly! And, it was her second peach of the day, already having devoured one at breakfast. These pictures crack me up.

Boy is this peach tasty!

But this skin sure is weird!

She even offered me some of her peach. She's so good at sharing!

Dropping it on the floor didn't deter her in the least.

Now if only she'd be more willing to eat those veggies!

Is it me or is my little baby starting to really look like a little girl!? (Especially in that second picture!) Sometimes she just looks so grown up. And I don't like it. I'm loving this age. She is so much fun and is always laughing and playing. Now is when I'd like time to slow down...

Playdate Fun

Ella went over to her friend Lizzie's house today. Lizzie is 3 weeks older than Ella and lots of fun!



We had a fun day! Hope to see Lizzie again soon!
