Tub Fun

These two are just too cute enjoying their bath together.

All smiles!

So much fun wearing a washcloth on our heads...

Not sure what's up with the tongue..!!

It's so fun now that they're entertaining each other so well. I love to just sit back and watch them interact together.

Who's the Baby?

Not only does Ella enjoy William's baby toys, but also his high chair. I remember her itching to get out of this chair, but the day has come where she wanted back in! William had already eaten his lunch, so I let her up... :)

Then she helped me rip up romaine for salads.

What a great helper! :)

William is 9 Months Old!

I honestly cannot believe my baby boy is already 9 months old. The time sure has zipped by in the blink of an eye.

He loves to be with his sister.

Smiling! (He'd just eaten! ;)

And...chewing the paper that said his age...

Ella wanted a paper to hold too. How adorable is she!?

William had his 9 month check up today. He's growing wonderfully!

Length: 29 1/4 (90th%)
Weight: 21lbs 11oz (75th%)
Head: 18 1/2 (90th%)

In a mere three months, he has gained an inch and a half, and almost four pounds. His third tooth (top front right) is also through, so hopefully we'll get a break on the teething (aka grumpiness).

He really is the sweetest little thing.

Cut & Paste Polar Bear

We were also talking about circles and working on counting, so Ella glued this little guy together.

Cut & Paste Monkey

Ella and I colored this monkey today. She's so cute--she colored his feet yellow and when I asked why they were yellow, she told me they were his boots!

She did great gluing down all the pieces, I hardly helped at all!

Finger Foods...Take 1

William absolutely LOVES bananas, so I thought a nice ripe piece of banana would be a great thing to try for his first attempt with finger foods.

He was excited!

But it quickly turned to, what is this you put in my mouth?

Oh my gosh, I'm supposed to eat this??? This isn't the banana I'm used to!

Here he is balancing a piece on his hand.

Slippery little suckers!

We'll keep trying!

William has such an infectious little laugh.

Not Even Five Minutes...

I left William in his room to go get Ella and this is what I came back to.

The only thing he likes about books is throwing them around and chewing on them. He and Ella are such opposites! At his age, Ella absolutely loved being read to. He's funny nonetheless.

m is for Monkey!

Ella made this cute little monkey today.

Can you tell that's what it's supposed to be? We thought he'd look cuter with a nice big smile on his face! And his long tail got cut out of the picture. :)

Ella's too cute.. when she saw the M I'd drawn she immediately said "M is for monster!" and she looked to the refrigerator for our old letter M monster (which has since been taken down). It's so cute she remembers all the things we do!

Love

Ella loves....

Playing with her playdough...

...and painting...

It's nice to let Ella have Ella time to just play and create by herself. It's also a nice break for me from having to "make it talk"... As much as I love that! :)

Shape Penguin!

Ella did such a great job making this adorable little penguin.

She identified all the shapes. She knows them well!

Putting her penguin together...

And painting snow! She told me the penguin had snow on him.

He kinda looks like he's dancing too. Isn't he so cute?

Igloo Craft

This was challenging for Ella, but we still had fun making it. She's so good at peeling off stickers, it was lining them up on the paper that was a little tricky, so I helped her a bit.

She wanted to know more about igloos, so we looked at pictures of real igloos online and talked about how they're found in cold places and the Eskimos who live in them.

She added some snow in the air too.

Then we made lunch! I put Ella to work and she made her own pizza.

We have so much fun together.
