Footprint Snowmen

This craft was so fun to do! Ella said it was her favorite one of the day! :)

First she let me paint her feet white and stamp them on construction paper.

Then she added some stick arms to her snowmen.
She added some foam mittens I'd cut out, some scarves (ribbon), googly eyes, a black hat, carrot nose, and Ella drew a smile and buttons.
Then she sponge painted on snow.
And used her fingerprint to add some snowflakes in the sky. :)

How adorable is this? :)

Snowman Dress up

I can't remember what site I took this from, but Ella enjoyed this. (She loves her Melissa and Dough dress up bear family and magnetic Maggie Leigh doll, so I knew she'd love this. I laminated a snowman with three different hats and scarves and Ella dressed up the snowman, putting different hats and scarves on him. We're going to try to make more pieces for him and put magnets on the backs so Ella can play with him on a magnetic back.

Cute stuff.

More Snowman Fun

We had such fun the other day with our marshmallow snowman that we made another today. This one out of simple circles. Ella glued down all the parts herself, and I think he came out pretty darn cute!

She also glued on buttons and dipped her finger in the white paint to make snowflakes.

Isn't our snowman so adorable? :)

Marshmallow Snowman

I don't remember where I saw this cute craft, but I'll try to find the link.

Ella is all excited about the snow and Daddy keeps saying he'll take her out to build a snowman, so today we made our own tasty snowman. We practiced counting to twenty, and Ella liked that I let her pop one in her mouth every five marshmallows. She loooves marshmallows so I had to let her have a few as she worked. :)

Getting to eat a marshmallow!

She was so careful lining the snowman with the marshmallows...

He's now hanging on the fridge.

The marshmallows are now all hard and stale, but Ella still tells me she wants to eat them off. Haha :)
