p is for piano

Ella decided she wanted to do a letter P art project today, so since we already have our big P, we did little, lowercase p.

She was really good at putting on all the keys in nice straight rows.

Then of course she wanted to play her piano after she was finished. :)

Finished piano!

J is for Jellyfish

We picked back up on our alphabet letters and since I couldn't think of a good thing we could make from the letter J, we did jellyfish using a coffee filter and tissue paper...

..and of course googly eyes.

Ella's jellyfish.

Ladybug Count!

Yay! Ella was in the mood to do an "art project" today!

We were watching a ladybug on the driveway last week so we did this ladybug counting project today. I can't remember where I got this idea.

Ella picked five different numbers for our ladybugs. I wrote the number and the word on each bug. Then she put the number of glue drops on the bug that it called for, and added the black spots.

Notice the tongue? She was concentrating hard! ;)

Ella's finished ladybugs. She really had fun doing this, and even more fun gluing the eyes down. :) She loves googly eyes.

After she was done she wanted more art project! :)

Easter Egg Hunt #1

We have not had the greatest luck with Easter egg hunts the past two years we've gone to them. This year we went to one at our church...we contributed a bag of candy filled eggs and everything. Well, we were about 2 minutes late and it was pretty much over. As my dad says, I guess Easter egg hunts are the only things that start on time!

Ella and I ran out into the field and it turned out we were in the wrong section. (?!) Ella ended up collecting about eight eggs. I think she would have had more fun if she had more time to look for and collect the eggs.

Checking out her eggs and anxious to see what's inside.

Can we go now?

We're going to another Easter egg hunt next weekend. We'll get there early if it kills me! :) And hopefully it'll be a little bit warmer.

We Love Clifford

This morning, in the cold and rain, we went off to a story time with Clifford. I knew Ella would love it so I had to take her. :) We currently have 14 Clifford books checked out of the library....that's all I could find and reserve! So, as you can see, Ella's on a HUGE Clifford kick right now!

Sitting and listening to the book (we have this one at home:)).

Can you tell she's having fun?

I didn't get a picture of Ella giving Clifford a hug, so this is the closest I got.

After the book the kids colored Clifford sheets. Ella's friend Lizzie happened to be there, so they colored together. Aren't they adorable sitting together?

So glad Ella had fun.

Nothing like a good game.....

...of Life!? Ella really enjoys playing with the little buildings, cars and people in Life. She also enjoys Clue. :)

Ella is 33 months old today! She is turning into such a beautiful, happy, sweet, funny little girl. I'm so glad she's mine.

Little William

This little one almost always has his mouth open. It's the cutest thing. :)

Playing with daddy...

Being attacked by daddy...

and by big sis!

He's typically very happy. Unless he hasn't gotten enough sleep...but then again, who isn't? :)

Now if we could just get over these colds and be done until next winter! Both kids have terrible coughs and William isn't sleeping well.

Yeah, I'm messy.

William really gets into his food, can you tell? :) He likes to eat everything with his hands now.

He's covered in food, but happy!

You should have seen the bathtub after we were done with him!

Stuck in Funny Places

William cracks me up the places he gets stuck. Lately, it's been under Ella's table.

You lookin' at me?

My handsome little boy.

Ella snuck in the picture!

Yum.. sock!

It's so funny how different he and Ella are. William is into everything!! He army crawls everything and pulls up on everything. Ella was the complete opposite.

I love my babies so much!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

This morning the four of us headed off to Breakfast with the Bunny. We didn't get to visit with the bunny last year, so we were all excited to go today!

Ella was all dressed, looking pretty and ready to go!

We got there and did a little coloring...

and made a bunny face...

Mommy even tried it on!

We had some breakfast... (William was missing his morning nap, so unfortunately, he was also missing his usual smile.)

The bunny arrived! Ella was really eager to sit with him--though she wanted to sit next to him, not on his lap. :) This was a nice improvement from our visit with Santa 3 1/2 months ago when Ella basically wanted nothing to do with him.

William was absolutely terrified however. We didn't make him sit there long!

Ella got to pick out a couple Easter Eggs afterwards.

Mommy and Ella.

Ella had a lot of fun, and that was the most important thing. :)

Blueberries are gooooooooood!!

Finger licking good, in fact!

Playing see food... where could he have learned this??

Being messy is FUN! He's sporting purple fingers for the rest of the day now!

I wish William would tell Ella how good they are! Ella's currently boycotting pretty much every food.

Sweetness

My little sweeties playing together. My heart overflows. (Then William attempted to eat some chalk. :))
