Goldfish

Ella and I had some fun sorting and graphing (and eating!) rainbow goldfish today.

Learning is fun!

St Patrick's Day Crafts

We decided to get going on our St. Patty's day crafts today!

First the kids took a heart shaped sponge, dipped it into green paint, and stamped it making shamrocks. They came out really cute. I cut them out after they were dry and hung them up.

Then the kids let me paint their hands and arms. I was a bit shocked both of them let me do this! Voila! Cute little leprechans! Ella decorated hers with a rainbow and sun, but drew the little face herself. William just scribbled, so I drew his face. :)

I love them! I think they are simply adorable!

Quiet time together

How cute are they sitting together on the couch snuggled under a blanket? They were watching something on tv and were quiet for about 10 minutes. :)

Friends Day

It was take-your-friend-to-the-gym day, so Ella invited her friend Aubrey.
And their feet...

Ella really enjoyed having her friend in class with her.

Preschool Valentine's Day party

It was a fun morning spent in Ella's classroom. William really loves preschool. :)

See what a good big sister Ella is? :)
Working on her necklace...
Testing out the toys... :)
Both my little ones playing the game...
More sisterly love.... melts my heart... She's loved him since day one.
And yet more love... :)
Snack time! William was eyeing the cupcakes!

Love, love, love my little ones.

Almost a month later....

...and William's the one that wears Ella's medal from The Little Gym. I think he thinks it's his! It's often hard to get it away from him at night when it's time for him to get in his crib. ;)
How cute is he? :)

Salad Spinner Hearts

Ella made these pretty hearts today using an old salad spinner.

First Ella just picked two colors and poured some in and spun away. It didn't spread much so we decided to try again...

This time we used different paint and added a little water. It didn't come out quite how I was thinking, but I still think they're both pretty and unique..
just like my Ella. :)

Sledding!!

Typically I like to send daddy out into the cold and snow to play with the kids, but I decided to join them today.

This is what I saw as I came out. Notice poor William laying down completely?
Here they come!! William really was loving it. Trust me.
Then we pulled them around the neighborhood in separate sleds. It was so much fun! It made me feel like a kid again and it was great seeing how happy they were and how much fun they were having.

I slipped and fell in a huge hill of snow, and daddy accidentally flipped William over in his sled which ended our fun. Poor thing ended up with a few cuts above his lip, but he's tough. :) Up until that point we were having a lot of fun together! :) I thought I was done with winter, but I had so much fun I'm going to have to take them out again to play.
