Happy 21 Months to my babe!

21 months already!? Time sure does fly. She is one amazing little being. Ella has such a personality, is so happy, and so incredibly sweet. It's wonderful seeing her grow and change with each new day. She has absolutely no clue how much love and happiness she brings all of us. How did I ever get lucky enough to be her mommy?? Boy am I blessed.

I made the mistake of finishing my Shamrock shake tonight and Ella had to have some. She loved the stuff! Luckily there wasn't much left so she didn't get too much. She's had a terrible cold this week, with an awful cough and runny nose. I bet the cold shake helped her throat feel better. :) This is a miserable cold, so I'm hoping and praying it's gone by the weekend. She took a record breaking nap today - just over 3 hours! I had to keep checking in on her because it was so unlike her!

Here we are! Ella at almost 21 months old and me at 33 weeks and 2 days. Don't let this picture deceive you though. I'm really not as huge as this picture shows! I was sticking my tummy out a bit to hold the munchkin up (she's getting heavy!).

We went to a resale today and picked up some cheap play clothes for the summer. Ella just happens to be modeling a shirt and jeans we picked up today. She looks so grown up in her Old Navy jeans! And we finally managed to get her to smile for the camera ... a "normal" smile. :)

We love crafts!

Ella and I are getting into more arts and crafts things and it's so much fun! Today we worked on making a cereal necklace. She helped pick the colors and do the stringing, though I think she enjoyed eating it afterwards best of all!

There's that happy smile I love so much! She's so proud of her work.

And here's the necklace at the end of the day... after a little... nibbling. :) This was the first time she's ever had any fruit loops. I think it's safe to say, she liked them!

Seriously, this is what we get when we tell Ella to smile. It cracks us up! :) But I completely cannot get enough of her little smiles. They melt my heart.


What a ride! Ella doesn't have to do any of the work! I think daddy's starting a bad habit with her that he could come to regret later... :)

Little sweetie is taking a much needed nap right now and mommy gets to rest. :)

Little girly girl

I have such a girly girl on my hands! Grandma M (Nona!) can't get over just how girly she is. Ella loves when she gets new clothes, picking her clothes out for the day, brushing her hair, playing with mommy's makeup, playing with her babies and dolls (she is very nurturing!), dollhouses, pushing her stroller, and the list goes on!

These pictures show Ella looking through her Great Grandmother's jewelry box. She got all excited at all the necklaces, rings, pendants and earings and wanted to try everything on. She makes us all laugh so much. :)

Our little girly girl will definitely try out a bunch of sports, though in a couple years. :)

Welcome March!

We've had a few days of wonderful warmer weather, so Ella got to try out her new jammies tonight. (She usually wears the footed pj's to keep her little toes warm. :) ) These were a Christmas present from her Grandma & Grandpa R.

Of course we couldn't get her to sit still for some pictures.

It's going to be tough when the cooler weather returns. It's been so gorgeous out and we've all enjoyed it!
