Enjoying the summer sunshine

How pathetic is this?

My poor baby has been feeling miserable for the past week and this is proof. It started as a bad cough, but over the weekend he had a fever, peaking at 104. We decided to take him to the doctor yesterday, and sure enough, he has double ear infections. :( My poor sweet baby hasn't been eating and has been crying and whining all day every day. He's now on antibiotics so hopefully he'll be back to his normal happy self very soon!!!

Ladybug Graphing

Ella also worked on this cute graphing book. She had to count the ladybugs on each page (1-10) then graph that number with her fingerprints. She still has some trouble with 1-1 matching, so this was great practice for her, and again, she enjoyed the paint!

L is for Ladybugs!

Ella was in the mood for an art project today! So we picked up on letter L and made some cute fingerprint ladybugs.

She used to not like to get paint on her hands, but now after some time has gone by, she's ok with it. :)

She was very serious working on those ladybugs. :)

Then Ella wanted to fingerpaint, so she went crazy smearing paint all over her paper....and I think she wanted to attack me with her painted hands!

Preschool starts in about a month, so I'm trying to get her ready and back in the swing of things. Though, of course, we always still make time to play Barbies. :)

Happy 4th!

We had a nice trip getting out of town and visiting with Nana and Pa.

And we looooved the pool! We couldn't have asked for better weather for swimming.

Even William did alright getting in! :)

and Ella enjoyed getting to hose down the "fire"!
