We love the beach

We've had a busy day! After the playground we had lunch at one of Ella's favorite places - Boston Market :) - then we went to a nearby beach. Ella LOVED it!

We had such a great time. Wish we could go somewhere warmer where we can actually enjoy the water.

Trip to the Playground

More fun at the playground. William loves to go both up and down the slides. :)

Ella had fun trying to do the monkey bars.

Then, before we left, I thought it would be fun to get a nice picture of the two of them on the bench together.

So it didn't go that well. William wasn't in the cooperating mood, but Ella was. :)

Cousins visit!

My sister and her family stopped over on their way home to MA and it was wonderful seeing everyone, as we don't get to see them very often. Ella especially had a great time seeing both her cousins. She was so happy!

My Three Year Old

My little girl starts preschool in 2 1/2 weeks. I can't believe the time is almost here already. I'm excited for her, as it's such a big step for her. I know she'll have fun once she gets used to things, but this will also be the first time she's ever been away from me. Her teacher does home visits prior to school starting, so she'll be coming over this Friday. Ella's really excited about! She keeps talking about "Miss Nancy" coming and wanting to show her all her toys. I hope this excitement continues!!

Morning at the Zoo

We had a crazy morning at the zoo. BOTH kids want to run around the zoo rather than ride in the stroller, so it was double the fun. :)

Ella wanted to see the monkeys so that's where we headed. She had all sorts of wonderful questions about the baboons. :)

Mr Bear came too.

It was an exhausting morning for all of us. Here's proof! William slept a whole 15 minutes on the ride home, and the boy NEVER falls asleep in the car.

Ella got a popsicle at the zoo too, and her white shirt ended up looking tye-dyed. She was quite a sight. :)

Is it Halloween already?

I got William's halloween costume today and Ella insisted on trying it on. :) Think it's a little bit too small? Ella didn't think so.

Playground Fun

Ella loves this playground so much, but we haven't taken her this summer, opting for a playground closer to home. The kids had so much fun and it was such a different time than it was last summer. One year ago I was wearing William and chasing after Ella as she ran around the playground. Now they're both on the run!
