The kids worked hard on these adorable little reindeer...


The kids and I made these adorable felt handprint reindeer ornaments to hang on our tree recently. I love how they turned out! William's on the left, Ella's on the right. So cute!

Happy Birthday to me

There's nowhere else I'd rather be than with my family on my birthday!

And thank you to my wonderful husband for picking me up a delicious cake. From the same bakery for our anniversary a couple years ago - delicious! :)

Ella and William picked me out some beautiful purple bracelets. :) I love them!

And...since we now live near my parents, Dave and I were able to go out just the two of us for a bit to celebrate. We had lunch child-free and even enjoyed a movie. (I only go about once a year now! :))

My sweet, wonderful children and husband are the best gifts I could ever get.

More Halloween Fun!

We love our local craft store. Every week they have a story and a free craft for the kids. It's so much fun! And since it was Halloween, they had a little party. The kids dressed up, trick or treated around the store, listened to a story, made a pumpkin craft, and also got to enjoy cider and donut holes. How festive!

Ella begged to wear her Cinderella dress, and naturally, William wanted to be what Ella was being, so he wore Belle. :)

Happy Halloween!

We have had such a fun and busy halloween this year. Here are a few pictures from today!

Halloween Party

Tonight we went to a neighboring community's halloween party. We decided to mix things up and the kids and hubby went as pirates! Well, William was the puppy aboard the pirate ship!

Ella was brave going up and high fiving the fire dog, and even posing for a picture!

And later I caught Ella giving the tooth a couple hugs!

At the end of the night they had a magician. Even I enjoyed it!!

Ella loved seeing Cinderella and Snow White at the party!

Tonight's party was the best part of the day. We were so tired from our day and almost didn't go. Sure glad we did! They even had a photo booth were we got a free picture of ourselves--it turned out so cute! A great memento of our fun night. :)

And earlier in the day Ella made this little spider. Isn't he adorable?

The Nature Center

We went to the nature center today. They were having "live animals" and halloween events and story time. It sounded so fun. The "live animals" turned out to be a tarantula, a couple turtles, a frog, and a snake. The kids were not impressed. There were plenty of stuffed (literally!) animals too. Ew. The story time turned out to be an older lady telling ghost stories suitable for perhaps twelve year olds. Yeah. And the "halloween events" consisted of coloring a pumpkin and going through a makeshift indoor maze. The kids were not impressed.

We enjoyed the beautiful day though, and took a walk through the woods! And the kids sat on a turtle. :)

And the most beautiful Cinderella? She's still a hard one to photograph (just for me, not anyone else really), but I did manage to capture this picture of her. :)

A beautiful Fall day....

I decided to take the kids out to a great park today to enjoy the weather and practice my newfound photography skills. :) We had so much fun!
