Igloo Craft
This was challenging for Ella, but we still had fun making it. She's so good at peeling off stickers, it was lining them up on the paper that was a little tricky, so I helped her a bit.
She wanted to know more about igloos, so we looked at pictures of real igloos online and talked about how they're found in cold places and the Eskimos who live in them.

She added some snow in the air too.

Then we made lunch! I put Ella to work and she made her own pizza.

We have so much fun together.

Cupcake liner snowflakes
These were fun to make, as Ella's learning how to use scissors.
We folded a cupcake liner a couple times and cut marks into them to make our snowflakes.

Ella - proud of her work!

Added some glue and then the much loved glitter!!

Still drying, but they now look pretty hanging in the windows. White liners would have looked better, but yellow was the best I had.

Cute!

Glittery Tactile Snowflake
Ella had fun making this snowflake we got from here. She loves playing with rice.
I made the snowflake with the glue and she sprinkled the rice all over it. She was very careful.

Then just enjoyed the feel of it and spreading it around. :)

Of course we had to add some sparkly glitter. I wanted silver, but she wanted gold, so gold it was!

Pretty and fun to touch!

More Snowman Fun
We had such fun the other day with our marshmallow snowman that we made another today. This one out of simple circles. Ella glued down all the parts herself, and I think he came out pretty darn cute!

She also glued on buttons and dipped her finger in the white paint to make snowflakes.

Isn't our snowman so adorable? :)
