Happy Easter!

William on Easter morning.

Ella checking out her basket.

William playing with, er, chewing on, his doodleboard. :)

Ella loved hunting around the downstairs for Easter eggs!

And the joy of seeing what's inside!

Sorting her candy...

I have the two sweetest little bunnies!

Easter Pictures

They had so much fun playing together. How did I ever get so lucky??

Summer is here already

We are going to be at a park probably every day from now until November. Ella LOVES the park! And, although he's still little, William enjoys the park too!

Riding the frog...

Ella's so brave! This is the tallest slide she's been down yet, and with no hesitation anymore.
Loving her static hair!

The kids really love the swings. Who doesn't!? :)

Even I love the swings! Even more when I have a cuddly little koala bear in my arms. :)

And one last picture - William staring out the front door. Ella used to love to do this too. I have tons of pictures of Ella in this exact same spot. :)

They make me so incredibly happy.

Easter Egg Hunt #2

Well we were at the egg hunt 15 minutes early this time, making sure we wouldn't miss it! And the hunt started 20 minutes late, go figure. :)

Hanging out before the hunt...

William getting hungry...

Ella giving the blow up bunny some love...

She was happy with her 12 eggs. :) Honestly, she was much more in awe at the kids going nuts grabbing eggs left and right, than picking up eggs for herself.

Then we sat down and checked out the candy. William wanted some.

The Easter Bunny showed up as we were leaving and we had to go back so Ella could visit with him. She was so cute, going right up to him and giving him a big hug.

At one point with her little brow furrowed, she turned to me and asked, "Bunny don't talk, mommy??" It was so sweet!

All in all we had a nice morning. :)

Dying Easter Eggs

I mentioned coloring eggs a few days ago so Ella's been all excited to do this.
Ella dropped the coloring tablets in the water. And we waited...

It was taking so long for the tablets to dissolve we played an Easter memory game while we waited.

Then got back to dying the eggs!

And waiting...

Eggs are colored! Ella decorated them with some cute Easter stickers.

She had a lot of fun! Then for the next few days we had lots of egg salad sandwiches! :)

Jammie Time!

I call William "Hurricane William" as he is constantly crawling over to where Ella has so carefully set up her people and completely wrecks is all on her. Today they were playing really nicely together and Ella was doing a great job of tolerating him and his mess-making. :)

How cute are they!

He Stands

A little over exposed, but he was just so proud of himself standing there at the couch. :)

Ella was just about walking at his age. It's so funny how different they are. William isn't ready to walk yet, but he talks incessantly!
