He's fast!!!!

What can I say? The boy can move!!!! Now to get him walking. He's tipping the scale at 27 lbs.

Could he be any cuter? Boy do I love this little itty bitty face.

3 Years

Happy 3rd Birthday Baby!!

I can't believe my little girl is three years old today. Where does the time go? Being in the hospital and the memories of delivering Ella still feel so fresh in my mind. She's becoming such a big girl.

We had a fun day celebrating Ella's birthday. We went to a playground this morning. They happened to be setting up for a carnival, so we walked around and looked at all the rides and stands. One man thought Ella was so cute, and gave her a necklace (a carnival prize :)). I appreciated the fact that the man noticed Ella instead of William for a change. As Ella's gotten older people seem to focus on William and his cuteness, and look past Ella. But Ella's still sweet and little and cute, and I was happy someone else saw that.

When we got home Ella spent some time jumping in her bounce house...

I caught this cute moment on camera. Ella ran over to her brother and gave him a hug and a kiss. How sweet is that!?

They played together at the sand and water table. William, of course, snuck some in his mouth.

And we made and decorated some cupcakes. Ella loved the sprinkles. :)

She was one happy little thing today!

We sang to her and she blew out her three candles.

She also opened a few presents. And I got lots of hugs and kisses!!

I sure do love this little girl!! She can be extremely trying and exhausting at times, but I wouldn't trade it in for the world. She is such a blessing to us. I hope her fourth year is her best year yet!! :) Happy birthday my girl!

Tonight was Ella's party with friends and it was a big success! Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun!

We also had the sand and water table set up...(and some tents and our swingset, all of which were enjoyed by all).

Ella was excited to open her presents. :) And Sheep was right there helping.

William was a good boy the whole time too, even though he was up way past his bedtime.

What a great party! :)

Happy 7 Years!

Wow, today is our 7th Anniversary. It's crazy that it's been this long already. Seven years ago our life together was just beginning.

And now we have two crazy little monkeys. :)

I wonder where we'll be in seven more years. We have so much to look forward to!

Happy Daddy's Day!

We spent a lot of today getting ready for Ella's birthday party. Since Ella wanted an Elmo theme, we made elmo cupcakes!

And of course, Ella got to try one. :)

William thought her red mouth was funny.

The girl loves frosting. She's definitely my daughter. :)

Can we go outside now?

Again today Ella wanted to know within ten minutes of getting up this morning if we could go outside and play. It is hard getting her to eat any breakfast!

William enjoyed his new swing. It plays music too which ella loves!

Ella's friend Sophia has been sick the past few days, but they were nice enough to let us borrow their little pool. It is HOT today!! And as you can see, William was even warming up to the idea of the pool. We'll see how it goes... :)

I let Ella fill the pool. She had a lot of fun until she turned the hose on William and me.

The water should be nice and warm after their afternoon naps. :)

Happy Birthday---a week early!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's today and celebrated Ella's birthday. Party #1. :)

Grandma got Ella a yummy ice cream cake.

Ella was so so excited. She was calling to her cousins, "Come on kids!!"

Another hot day. We spent much of the day playing outside with friends.

William trying to attack me with sand. Ya know, after he tasted it for himself, he wanted me to have a taste. :)

I can just tell already it's going to be a very good summer!!
