It's hard to believe my little monkey is 4 months old already. He's growing and changing so much every day.
It was a dark day and my flash died right as I started taking pictures today, so I didn't get too many. But, as usual, William was pretty much all smiles.
Smiling with his giraffe.
"Talking" to me.. :)
And trying to eat Mr Giraffe.
I wonder what new things William will learn this month.

Happy Wednesday!
Here's Mr. Smiley as I call him. It's hard to be annoyed with a short nap when I get these big smiles. :)
William, daddy, and our lovely garage.
This is William "talking." It's so cute.
And my little sweetie... aren't her eyes so pretty?
Concentrating hard..
And a random sunflower in our backyard as I'm having fun playing around with my camera.

26 Months Old
Little sweetie is 26 months old today. Really, where does the time go? It feels like it just goes faster and faster. :(
Ella can be a tough subject to photograph as she's always on the move, but it's fun for me as I'm finally getting around to figuring out how to work my camera (that is, besides putting it on auto and snapping:)). I'm having lots of fun learning!
I love the lighting I'm getting and the blurred background.
The details of her hair are something I never got before.
Love the rays of sun getting into this shot, highlighting her hair.
Happy 26 months sweet pea! I love my girl so much!

Sprinkler Fun
Silly Ella. She enjoys sticking her head into the sprinkler. In the beginning of the summer she wasn't so into the sprinkler. She ran from it. Now she LOVES IT. And the water is cold!
Soaking wet and having fun.
She also likes to stick her face into the spray.
Running around with my shades.
Just chilling. :)
Such simple things make her happy.

Playdough Fun
We hadn't played with playdough for quite a while until today. And we played for an hour and a half!! Ella had so much fun...
making imprints of different things...
making letters...
playing hairdresser... :)
She's showing her the mirror here.. :) hehe
And finally we had lunch, and Ella had some F shaped cheese pieces. :)
And now both monkeys are fast asleep for their afternoon naps... :)

Bonding Time
Apple Print Flowers
We've moved onto the letter F today and started the week off by making apple print flowers. Ella chose the colors - I think pink and purple are her favorites! I may in fact, have had more fun making these than Ella however.. :) We stamped the sky with a grape tomato. Stamping is fun!
The top is Ella's, the bottom is mine. The blue part by the way, is a bright blue sky!
Ella may have just simply enjoyed drawing with her markers more. :)
What a masterpiece! She's too cute. When she draws, or "writes," she's naming the letters as if she's really trying hard to make the letter.
This morning as we were looking at a book, she was naming all the means of transportation; bikes, motorcycle, TAXI, jeep, car, van, bus, truck... and then naming pictures of bugs; snail (and the shell he has on his back), slug, spider, bee, fly, toad (and it was really a toad, not a frog. !?!?).
She amazes me. I cannot believe how much she knows and continues to learn.

B is for BUGS!
Ella and I have been busy working on the letter B this week. We had fun making fingerprint bugs. Ella really enjoys the googly eyes and seeing the prints turn into "bugs!"

William Rolls!
William started rolling over tummy to back in the beginning of this past week...and I finally got around to posting the video. This clip captures the fourth time he successfully rolled over. He still doesn't do it consistently yet, but it's an exciting milestone to reach. :) His little roll is at the very end of the clip. You can see he's trying hard.
