First Easter Egg Hunt of the Year

The rain cleared up, the sun came out, and we were able to make the Easter egg hunt today!

Ella and William's "hunt" consisted of walking into a little area, picking up two eggs, then dropping them off in another area in exchange for a small bag of candy.

This is what the four years and up crowd did. Candy was thrown everywhere in the playground and the kids were on it. They invited the littler ones in, so that made Ella happy. :)

She was very particular with what pieces of candy she picked up. Unlike some other kids-- Notice the boy in the picture above with his arms full? :)

William wasn't sure what to do, but got into it and tossed a few pieces into his basket.

We had fun! The kids got balloons too, which made their day. Next week we're heading to a different type of "hunt" so stay tuned!
