Field Trip to the Farm

Ella's class had a trip to a farm today and William and I got to go! We arrived and I was afraid we were going to have to turn around and go home. As soon as I opened the van door Ella caught a whiff of that nice farm smell and immediately declared how bad it smelled and that she didn't want to get out of the car. Once I persuaded her out (thank goodness!), we ended up having a fairly good time. You'll read why it below. :)

Ella in front of the chicken coop holding the three eggs she got from the coop!
And William too!
Ella in front of the little ducklings. They were so cute! William wasn't a fan of any of this.
William freaked out with the sheep. He did not like the baa'ing, of the goats jumping up. He didn't even want to get near the dog which looked like Lassie. Neither Ella nor William would go into the cow section. But....

they did enjoy the swingset and digging in the dirt! :)

We've got to get William around more animals. I'm not exactly sure what was so upsetting to him!

And we smelled like farm for the rest of the day. :)
