We're skipping Spring and heading right for Summer!
This little bathing suit is so adorable on Ella. Too bad I bought it last year and it's a bit small now. It's not going to fit her this summer. :(

Happy 20 months to my baby!
Ella is 20 months old today and I'm 31 weeks tomorrow. :) Being Ash Wednesday, Ella, daddy and I all went to noon day mass. Ella was a perfect angel, so well behaved as usual. She made friends with the elderly woman sitting next to us and proclaimed "baby" every time she saw one go by. Ella also loves to bless herself. We say the blessing before meals and she always gets a huge smile on her face. She's got part of it down, it's very impressive!
After mass we went to lunch at Chili's and since we hadn't planned on going, we ordered Ella her very first restaurant meal. (She's usually somewhat picky with what she eats at lunch, so it's always been easier to just bring her food that we know she'll eat.) Today though, she enjoyed a cheese quesadilla, corn and a little lemonade. It was the cutest thing! We had a really nice time together. We also don't usually get daddy time during the week days. :)
I love my family soooo much!!! Family means the absolute world to me.

20 Months Old Tomorrow!!
I'm in shock that my baby will be 20 months old tomorrow. The months have gone by so fast.
Here is Ella "talking" before lunch. She has so much to say!
Hello there foot!
Ella makes me so incredibly happy. She does so many funny things; new things seemingly every day. Here are just a few things she does now that just crack me up!
* She loves the book The Wheels on the Bus!! She does all the signs/gestures as we read, even the babies crying! The other day she started crying on that page and I didn't know what was wrong! Turned out she was just faking it for that part of the story!
* Keeping with the faking---she fake yawns! She'll close her eyes and open her mouth really wide making the yawn sound.
* Today at music class the instructor was laying on his back on the floor and she brought her finger to her lips and said "Shhh." It's too cute when she thinks people are sleeping. She'll shush everyone.
* Every time she sees a picture of a particular person she puts her finger to her lips and "Shhhh's." When Ella sees this person they are often sleeping, so Ella has made that connection! I thought it was just a fluke the first time she did it, but every single time she sees the picture she does it. Hmm... can you name this person? :)
* Ella also now makes the most adorable cat sound. It sounds a little like a dying cat rather than a "meow" but it's the same sound she makes every time and it's really, really sweet.
* She loves to pull my shirt up to see my tummy. We've told her there's a baby in there, so now she pulls my shirt up, smacks my tummy a little and says "baby" with a huge smile on her face. (I'm still working on her being more gentle rather than smacking at my tummy ;))
* The kisses are out of control!! I am in heaven! She's constantly climbing on me and kissing me. I feel like most days all we do is laugh and kiss. It is great! When she's in the bathtub she often likes to stand up and pour water. I always tell her she must sit down, but in order to try to get her way she leans over and kisses me, hoping that'll be enough to let her keep standing. She melts my heart and it almost does! I think Ella knows she has both mommy and daddy wrapped around her little finger in a lot of ways. :)
* She still hates wearing her socks. They always come off, and usually once they're off, they go on her hands. So there she was today at music class wearing her socks on her hands. Haha. She finds it pretty funny too.
* When she sees other babies and toddlers (even ones older than she!) at gymboree, music class, the grocery store, wherever, she'll proclaim "baby!"
* Whenever Ella feeds her babies, her Little People (or anything with a face on it) she'll put her spoon/fork right up to the face and make the cutest little eating sound smacking her lips together. I did this a lot in the past with her babies to try to get her to eat something and now she feeds them and makes the sound herself. It is so stinking cute! And she's so great at sharing. :)
Happy 20 months to my little sweetheart!

Sick baby
The little one has a 102 fever today. Her eyes are all red, she's a bit whiny and doesn't have much of an appetite but other than that she's not grumpy at all. Just not herself. It's rather sad seeing her like this. She's been napping on and off most of the day, so hopefully this will pass quickly!
Despite not feeling well, Ella still makes time for her babies. She pushed them around in her stroller today and has been trying to potty train this one (even though she's not quite there herself). :) This is what I found when I walked in the bathroom earlier today.
How could this not bring a smile to my face? :)
Say a prayer the little sweetie feels better soon!

29 weeks down 11 to go!
My pumpkin and me at 29 weeks pregnant. I'm starting to feel the pains of pregnancy a bit, but I'm sooo happy I have this awesome little girl to keep me busy and happy. She's my little lifesaver!
We went to open gym at Gymboree tonight and the little thing kept laying down on the floor to kiss "Gymbo" the clown. This happened about 7 times and she does it every single time we're there. How sweet! Tomorrow we go for art class!

We're back!
It's been a while since I've gotten to my blog. Here are some pictures from today/tonight.
Ella got a Valentine's card today! She loved it Grandma & Grandpa M!
Especially the little gift inside for her monkey bank. :)
Very sweet card. Ella had fun playing with the envelope too, and putting the card and bill in and out. Ah, simple pleasures.
Ella taught daddy how to clap tonight. She taught Grandma and Grandpa M when they visited last week. If we're not clapping, she comes over and makes us. :)
Does this look like the face of a little girl who enjoys getting her teeth brushed?
Apparently, not tonight!
But she did, however, love giving herself kisses in the mirror. Maybe she can see why I have trouble keeping my lips off her!
Really getting into it... hah :)
Hopefully I'll be much better at posting pics from here on out. I know some of you really miss your daily Ella fix. ;)
