Yay! Ella was finally up for making something, so we did our I craft today. We had so much fun!
First she got to color her I.
Then she used the oh so wonderful glue!
And she glued the cone onto the bottom...
And glued the ice cream scoops on. I asked her how many scoops our ice cream should have before we started and thankfully, she said three! It would have been a lot tougher if she'd said eight or nine! (Love that Ella's sticking out her tongue in this picture--that must be her way of concentrating!)
Ella also picked the "flavors" for our ice cream cone. Then she worked on gluing the sprinkles on. She picked the sprinkles colors, I hole punched a bunch and together we put glue drops on the scoops. She did awesome picking up those tiny dots and sticking them down. It was great fine motor practice. She only dropped a couple on the floor.
Concentrating so hard...
Almost finished...
Our pom-pom wouldn't stick to the top, so we just had to use some more construction paper for our cherry on top!
Ella's finished ice cream cone. Doesn't it look great?
